About Magnolia Collective

A Thirroul boutique built on personal service.

We've been part of Thirroul's Lawrence Hargrave Drive shopping strip since 2005 — originally as Boutique Thirroul, and since 2019 as Magnolia Collective under owner Marty Graves.

Our story

From Boutique Thirroul to Magnolia Collective.

Magnolia Collective has been part of the Thirroul community since 2005, when it first opened as Boutique Thirroul. For more than a decade it built a loyal local following as a go-to for hand-picked women's fashion on the Coal Coast.

On 25 January 2019, Marty Graves took ownership and rebranded the store as Magnolia Collective — a new name, a renewed focus on natural fibres and sustainable seasonal styles, and the same commitment to personal service the boutique had been known for.

Today, the store continues to be a destination for women who want considered pieces they can't find in a department store, curated by someone who knows their wardrobe.

Meet Marty

Marty Graves — owner & curator.

Marty relocated from Sydney — where she spent more than sixteen years as Practice Manager at Eastern Suburbs Osteopathy in Bondi Junction — to Stanwell Park, drawn by a passion for the Coal Coast lifestyle.

Having lived and worked across Perth, Melbourne, the Gold Coast and Sydney, Marty brings a broad fashion perspective to the boutique. That breadth shows up in the brands she stocks and the way pieces are put together on the racks.

“Fashion, curated by Marty. With my customers' tastes in mind, each item is hand-selected to suit their lifestyle.”

Our philosophy

Easy-to-wear, classy seasonal styles in natural fabrics.

  • Natural fibres first

We lean toward sustainable natural fabrics — cottons, linens, wools and natural blends — that wear well and feel right on the coast.

  • Colour that catches the eye

Seasonal collections balance classic, wearable shapes with eye-catching colours and prints, so every rack has something that surprises.

  • Personal, not faceless

Magnolia Collective is definitely not just another frock shop or faceless online store. You’ll be styled by someone who knows their wardrobe.
